 Sometimes when life gets hard 

You have to learn to be stronger.

The love and trust you provide 

Is not enough to suffice -

Odin did not sacrifice 

his eye And Freyja did not cry

Tears of gold for you 

to throw away your fate. 

The Gods shine down on you,

Proud and Unafraid 

Bound by your glory and destiny to be 

More. 

The vikings were admirable - 

Strong and unapologetic and 

Absolutely everything I aspire to be.

However, The only glory I seek, 

is the pride of the one that raised me.
