An introduction (in short)
I am a 19-year-old English Literature student who has spent most of her life reading about the lives and adventures of some of the best (and worst) characters ever to be depicted. I figured, why not give it a go myself. This blog is a small section of the masses of notebooks I have filled with words that do not begin to describe the tales I have dreamed up in my head.
Disclaimer: I want to emphasize that although some of my work is influenced by personal experience, not all of it is. The separation of the author from literary works is one of the most important parts of the cathartic nature of my writing for me. I want my writing to stand alone and speak for itself. My 'intentioned' meaning is simply part of the production process. You, the reader are the only one that can bring meaning to the piece. That said, the majority of these poems and shorter posts were written by the girl I have outgrown but I hope you get as much out of reading it as I have done writing it.
